Recently I came across a new video clip from the Icelandic singer Bjork, entitled Mutual core and based entirely around plate tectonics. The video contain some rather abstract images of eruptions, subduction and collision. I’m not sold on the song but it is worth watching. The concept does fit well with an Icelandic artist as Iceland straddles the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and is the only place where you can find a mid-ocean ridge above the water.
