Climate change is on everyone’s lips and is now one of the most widely researched areas today. The problem, however, is that there’s not much interdisciplinary interaction – scientists, policy makers, engineers, anthropologists and economists need to get together regularly and talk! If any practical solutions are to be arrived at (relatively quickly), we need more communication among research groups.

And that’s why the ANU Climate Change Institute’s PhD EXPO (click here) this Friday16th March is a great idea. PhD researchers from all corners of the university will share bite-sized morsels of their work. Hopefully this will ignite some networks and get people talking across research fields! It’s a free event, open to all interested in joining the conversation.
