Living in Australia, I tend to focus on what’s going on here and I often forget that the rest of the world has things going on too! I stumbled across this YouTube video that talks about the strange weather that North America experienced during March 2012, during their winter.
If you recall, more than 7000 records were set across North America, during March 2012. Some of these records were phenomenal, with daily minimum temperatures breaking daily maximum records.
Not all of North America experienced the same conditions, some areas were very warm, while some were very cold. This video explains why this was the case, and also looks at how climate change will likely affect future weather patterns in the region.
