Here at oncirculation, we put a lot of emphasis on science communication. We try to write blog posts about sometimes complex earth sciences concepts in a simple and easily accessible way to our readers. After all, what’s the point of making an amazing discovery in science if no one can understand what you’ve done!
I came across this web site that compiles the best science and engineering visualisations of 2012. What surprised me about the list is that it’s comprised of quite specific scientific content. The number one video, for example, is a 3d simulation of a beating heart (see below). There are also visulatisations about the human eye, fertilisation, the evolution of the earth and a game about velociraptors.
Head over to wired.com and check out the full list for yourself.
